About Casey

My name is Casey! I've spend four years teaching at Mathnasium, where I tutored students from kindergarten to 8th grade in all kinds of math. I also volunteer at an after school program in New Orleans, where I help students with their homework and test preparation. I love getting to know these kids and watch them grow with each lesson. Whether your child needs help catching up, wants to get ahead, or just needs a little extra encouragement, I'm here to make math a little less scary, and maybe even fun! I'd describe my personality as patient, adaptable, and organized. I like tutoring because it's rewarding to help someone go from feeling confused or frustrated to feeling confident and capable. I like helping students believe in themselves!
