I am a nurse of over 14 years with lots of experience with the elderly population, especially with dementia patients. On top of that, my step-son (11) has severe autism and I have the patience and understanding needed to care for both types of individuals. I became a nurse in hopes to make a difference in a persons day, however, in reality, nurses don't usually get the time to spend more than a minute with their patients. I have taken to self-employment to follow my dream of making a difference. I am a Certified Medicaid Nurse Provider so if you have nursing hours approved, I can bill straight to Medicaid. Do you have school-aged kids and need summer care? I try to keep my 9-year-old daughter busy with fun and free/inexpensive activities over the summer. I am willing to take on two kids full-time/part-time to join in on all the fun.
