About Carolyn

Hello! My name is Carolyn, and my goal is to assist in making your household run as smoothly, safely, and comfortably as possible. I currently hold a B. A. in Psychology and Exercise Science, and completed 4 semesters of coursework at Northwestern University's Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program. My child care experience spans 6 years, nannying in households with anywhere from 1-4 children, ranging in age from 4mo-6 years old. I have also spent time as a swimming instructor, teaching children ages 1-13 years to swim and enjoy the water safely and confidently! Through the above work and educational experiences, I've developed a child care approach which centers around age appropriate play/interaction, encouragement, redirection, tons of physical activity, and, above all, patience and warmth.
