About Caroline

Hi! My name is Caroline. I am 28 years old and have lived in Portland for 8 years. I enjoy knitting and other forms of creative expression, going on walks and reading. I have experience working with children of all ages in both a babysitting and professional capacity. I currently work at a local public library in youth services, providing programming and assistance to children ages 0-18 and their caregivers daily. I also have a year of experience babysitting weekly for a three and 1-year-old siblings. Prior to the library, I worked as an educator at a local non-profit, providing violence prevention education to students in grades 5-12 across Cumberland County, and also have over three years of camp counselor experience in a few different camp settings. I value following the lead of young people, exploration through play and communicating with them in clear and kind ways. I'm looking for regular work 5-10 hours a week and would love to chat more about scheduling and possibilities!
