I have cared for various pets over my lifetime, along with the two cats I currently own. I often pet-sit for the families that I nanny for as well as a few friends. My care primarily consists of feedings, walks, play time, litter/waste removal, cleanliness of pet, or home (i.e., pick up if they make a mess), medication (pills only, I do not feel comfortable with shots). I have cared for dogs, large and small, cats with behavioral issues, fish, and small mammals (hamster). I will admit to having plenty knowledge of cats and dogs, while having limited knowledge of exotic pets and birds. So if they're in the home, I'm willing to take care of them, or to learn how.

I spent a long time looking for a nanny after our morning care person found a new job. Carmen immediately stood out. She is friendly, communicative, smart and very very responsible. She asks the right questions, is proactive, and is extremely attentive with my 1 and 7 year old. She comes up with interactive, age-appropriate activities, and can be trusted to pickup both children from school. She leaves my home cleaner than she found it, and is always responsive. I can't ask for more than Carmen. She's been a lifesaver for us, and we are very lucky to have her.
