About Carla

Hi! My name is Carla, and I have over 4 years of experience working with children in an afterschool care setting, supporting students from Transitional Kindergarten (K) through 5th grade. I've had the joy of working with kids of all personalities and abilities, and I truly believe every child deserves patience, creativity, and care. I'm fun, playful, and love getting involved with the kids-whether it's doing crafts, playing games, or helping them unwind after a long school day. I'm bilingual in Spanish and English, which helps me connect with a wide range of families and children. In addition to childcare, I can help with light housekeeping and meal/snack prepping to keep things running smoothly or your family. I'm trained in First Aid and have completed CPR training in the past through my job, and I'm happy to renew my CPR certification if needed.
