About Carla

Hi there! I am a mother of two creative and energetic boys, ages 13 and 10, with 20+ years experience caring for and working with children, starting with my 16 nieces and nephews. When I'm not building legos, forts or bonfires with the kids, you can find me exploring the outdoors. Since 2015, I have enjoyed my time managing a children's hair salon, where I have had the privilege of building and maintaining relationships with hundreds of local Ann Arbor families. Prior to the salon, when each of my boys were in the infant/toddler stage, I was a SAHM. During this time, I acted as a reliable nanny for a family with two boys of similar age to my own. I cared for 4 boys at a time and was responsible for preparing meals and transportation to and from school and activities. I like to play games and sports, hike and camp, create music and sing, explore the farmers market and cook healthy meals, practice yoga & read. I look forward to meeting you and your family soon!
