About Carissa

Hello! My name is Carissa and I thank you for taking the time to review my profile. I am excited for the opportunity to get to know you and your little one(s). My favorite thing about children is watching them learn. Learning comes in so many different shapes, and at completely different paces, but no matter what, learning is simply beautiful. A little bit more about me: 1. I am CPR certified at the American Heart Association BLS level and I have also had extensive first aid training. 2. Thanks to my beautiful older sister who has a developmental disability (she is 29 and does not read, write, and has a very limited vocabulary, but is the most extraordinary human being, not to mention my best friend), I am 100% comfortable in caring for children and adults with special needs. 3. I am a former college athlete and love to do anything that is outdoors or that keeps me moving. Available for date night and occasionally scheduled babysitting opportunities!
