About Calissa

Hello! My name is Calissa (Cuh-leh-suh) and I would love to be your tutor! Here's a little info about me! I have approximately 1 year of tutoring experience through a high school-elementary school program and one private tutoring client. But I do have 16 years of acing classes, studying hard, and test taking and lots of experience with kids. I graduated high school in 2018 with my college prep diploma, a 4. 0 GPA, and a 29 ACT score. I have a bachelors degree in Biology with a minor in art from the University of Missouri-Columbia, graduating with a 3. 8 GPA. I will be also be applying to medical schools this fall. K-12 sciences, particularly biology and other life sciences are my strong suit, but I also excel in reading and reading comprehension! I have also played the violin for 18 years with Suzuki training and would be able to help with practicing. As your tutor I promise to provide you with a fun, productive, upbeat, and educational experience!
