I've been an 8th grade science teacher for the past 7 years. Currently, I'm on maternity leave for the 2020-2021 school year and am available for science as well as general tutoring. I have experience with reading/writing and overall literacy for grades 1-9, and general subjects for grades 1-6. I'm a certified general science teacher for MA grades 5-8. I passed the following MTELs: Communication and Literacy Reading/Writing, General Curriculum Multi Subject, and General Science. I am available in person, as well as online/virtually. I'm friendly, patient, encouraging and easy to work with. I'm flexible with my hours during typical school days if tutoring is virtual, and can meet in person during weekday evenings, and weekend days.

Caitlin has been with us as a babysitter/tutor for 11 years. She began babysitting my oldest daughter when she was a toddler and then began babysitting for our youngest daughter as an infant. My girls adore her. She would always have fun outdoor activities for the girls to do. Both my daughters also have learning disabilities. While babysitting, she would help them with their homework and play interactive games with them. We hired her as a tutor during the pandemic to work with my daughters and help them with their reading comprehension skills. She helped our girls tremendously with forward progress during a crazy time in everyone's lives. Caitlin is amazing!
