About Brooklynn

I'm currently a first year student at Austin Community College, working toward my associate's degree. I plan to transfer next spring, to a university to continue my social work degree with the goal of becoming a licensed therapist. Helping others is something I've always been passionate about. I have experience working in memory care as a caregiver, where I assisted seniors with daily tasks and, simply just provided companionship. That job taught me so much about patience, kindness, and the importance of just being there for someone. I use what I learned everyday and always try to be considerate to others. I grew up the second oldest out of my six siblings early. I was the go to person for watching my younger siblings, cousins, and any family friends children, it taught me a lot from a very young age. I'm a huge empath, I love uplifting people, and there's nothing better than knowing I've made someone's day a little brighter.
