About Brittany

Since I was little I wanted to be a vet. I've owned many friends with 4 legs. I had a small goat farm I ran at the age of 13 with my family. It was during that experience I decided veterinarian was not a good fit for me. I've owned a horse of my own and worked at stables growing up. My favorite being an assistant to conditioning the horses to be able to work with handicap children. I've had chickens, hedgehogs, and cared for many other pets for my friends. I later came upon the career path of groomer. I love everything about it! I get to unleash my creative side with different hairstyles. I get to help pets stay healthy by trimming nails, cleaning out ears, and keeping skin and coat maintained. I groom both cats and dogs but little dogs are by far my favorite to groom. As far as owning dogs of my own it is big dogs all day. We had mastiffs growing up and they were the best family members ever. I've worked at a dog rescue/boarding facility in Georgia for a year and learned a lot about dog handling there the most challenging from all the rescued fight dogs. I've worked side by side with one of the 3 certified trainers in Atlanta who helped me a lot in fine-tuning these skills. I look forward to meeting you and your fur-babies. :)
