About Brittany

I'd describe my personality as thoughtful, compassionate, and humorous. I like working with kids because they're fun, they're inquisitive, they're brutally honest, they're unpredictable, they're hilarious, they're thoughtful, they're optimistic, they're loving, they're creative. They're everything adults strive to be. I started working with kids when I had kids! Haha! my children are currently 19 (foster child that's forever part of the family), 19, 18, and 15. I also did in-home childcare from 2012 to 2015. In my spare time, I like to read, garden, go to museums, build Lego sets, watch movies, hike, go to concerts, go to baseball games, hang out with my kids, play card and board games, and relax at the lake! My top three skills include empathy, patience, and flexibility.
