About Brigitta

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, caring, and fun. I like tutoring because I love helping families feel relief of the stress and strain of trying to help their child understand concepts they aren't understanding at school. I'm looking for a job that helps students with ADHD who struggle with math in grades 2nd-6th to help close their math skills gap and grow their math confidence. I started tutoring when I was in college before 2008, and have been teaching in the school system or tutoring ever since. In my spare time, I like to run, read, travel, and spend time with my family. One thing you should know about me is I'm a skills focused teacher/tutor and I work hard to close the gaps for your child. My skills include multi-step operations, algebra, and multiple strategies to help a student to understand how to solve the problem.
