I worked 1 year as a CNA at an adult care facility in the Alzheimer's ward and 2 years as a CNA at a nursing home, both in Florida. I work now as a Direct Support Person. I work with 2 clients in home. I cook, clean and am med certified to administer medications. Clients are wheelchair bound and mentally handicapped but active. I am CPR certified and CPI certified and trained in Protection from harm. I have been at this job for a year. I have developed good relationships with the clients I am with. I am looking for more work. If position has enough hours will consider going as needed at current job.
