I hold a BA, MA, and PhD in cultural anthropology and certifications in women, studies and Mexican, American studies from IT Austin. I have taught entry freshman level courses, all the way to senior capstones at the undergraduate levels. I've taught anthropology and capstone writing courses and a variety of courses in the areas of Latina and Latino studies andwomen's studies. I taught in the liberal arts college context for 15 years.
