Hi! My name is Brenda. New Yorker with a passion for humans. I am honest, fun loving traveler, an art enthusiast, adventure connoisseur, foodie extraordinaire, eclectic , nature loving, multi-cultural urban hippie. Extremely resourceful, Cooking and creating are two of my favorite things. I've been in child care for 25 plus years and for the past 10 plus years I've been with the Department of Ed for the City of New York working with special needs children. A degree in Education and Human Services and fluent in Spanish. I have the most experience with Down Syndrome, Asperger, ASD, and ADD between the ages of 5-21 years old. I'm a firm believer in ADL skills (activities of daily living) Hygiene, cooking, cleaning, laundry, travel trainer, shopping, socializing etc. I would enjoy working with an older population. I can be a teacher/mentor/friend.
