I am passionate about children and food. If your child is interested in cooking, please consider me as a highly qualified caregiver. As a former chef and caterer, I know about many aspects of food preparation. I am skilled at special diets and various ethnic cuisines. I could bring your kids home from school and invite them to help prepare dinner for the family. Or, we might start with fun baking projects. We could do homework or work on language skills. I speak French and Italian. I have worked as a chef, caterer, and Brick House Supper Club owner. I am a food anthropologist (ABD in cultural anthropology at the Graduate Center, CUNY). I have taught college students for the last 10 years. I'm looking for a job now that will allow me to use many skills I have developed, first as a mother of three girls and second as a grandmother of five boys. I am looking to make a difference in the lives of younger children by giving them loving attention while developing hand's on skills.
