During the journey to obtain my bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Special Education at the University of Tennessee, I was introduced to a program that gave me class credits for time spent working with special needs and non-typically developing individuals. At these events and weekly camps, I fell in love with the absolute joy that comes from spending just a moment with this wonderful population of people. After obtaining my degree, I continued to attend these camps and events for the fun and joy these relationships brought into my life. Soon I began working as a Special Needs Paraprofessional in a North GA high school. There I learned the skills necessary for daily care as opposed to the fun and games I had experienced as an undergraduate student. I have over 7 years of experience in child care and over 4 years experience in caring for and living life alongside those who need a little more help doing so. I am skilled in behavior management and look forward to meeting you.
