In summer 2011, I volunteered for 3 months at a foster home in Japan that took care of seven children. Five of those children had Down Syndrome and two of them needed oxygen and heart monitors. I learned how to care for them and give them their medicine. My dream is to be a mother and adopt a child with special needs.
