About Bethany

I have nannied for the same family for the past three years. I loved watching their children develop and knowing I was a part of their fun filled summers. From that experience, I gained communication skills with parents and with young children, as well as, the ability to plan creative activities that appealed to both a 3-year-old and 11-year-old. I have a degree in Education which I use to teach middle school Social Studies and have academic experience with the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of children and adolescents. I've been a volunteer leader for VBS for five years, having led various groups of school age children. During the pandemic, I did childcare for my sister, caring for her toddler and 4-month-old. I prepared meals, changed diapers, put down for naps, planned age appropriate activities, and entertained my niece and nephew for 6 months. I also babysit extensively and have experience with newborns, infants, and toddlers.
