I have a 12-year-old sister who has a micro delation on her third chromosome, so I have to take care of her when my parents are at work. I have worked at my previous high school in the special ed classroom. I also interned in the Preschool Program for Children with Disabilities (PPCD) where I was a unpaid teacher. I also was on staff for a Special Needs camp in my home town Amarillo, and have spent countless hours working at that camp. I'm attending McMurry as a pre occupational therapy major.
