I am a retired LPN looking for a full-time or part-time position in providing senior care. I have a very nurturing personality, and miss the one-on-one relationship developed through the above. I enjoyed the nursing home rotations in nursing school, and have done lots of senior care with my own parents including hospice. I have an extensive background in family practice and enjoyed working in geriatrics. 17 of my 20 year nursing career has been in family practice and three years has been in asthma and allergy practice. Before becoming a nurse, I worked for the commonwealth of Virginia, had a child care service of my own, and traveled extensively in Europe and Russia. I am friendly and personable and enjoy talking with people young and old. I had great success with my child care and enjoyed it immensely.
