I am experienced in caring for individuals of all ages with strokes, paraplegics, memory loss, dementia and Cerebral Palsy as well as simple aging. I am also experienced in assisting in physical therapy and mental exercises, companion care and health care with special diets. I am also sensitive to each individual's needs for privacy and knowing when to help. I believe individuals in need of care have experienced loss of certain freedoms and I strive to find ways for them to safely enjoy life do as much as they can with my supervision. I have worked with non-verbal children with special needs, gone to school with them and spent time in the evening doing homework. With my training, I have pinpointed the cause of behaviors that were caused by particular types of infection and recommended medical care. I also have personal experience in using homeopathic remedies and have studied homeopathy and nutrition. I have used my essential oils to massage my clients feet as needed. I enjoy being out in nature and experiencing the outdoors with my clients on walks, going to zoos, outdoor movies, or concerts, depending on the clients needs and wishes, or just being inside to get away from people.
