About Beatrice

As a Social Work student, I have developed a passion for working with children through our lessons and hands-on experiences volunteering at children's centers. I want to ensure every child can thrive and can provide professional references from professors, admin, + managers relating to childcare. My experience as a creative arts camp counselor, coupled with my Early Child Development coursework, allows me to plan age-appropriate activities. From painting with toddlers to baking sweets with older children, I love hands-on learning. I'm comfortable caring for one-three children at a time and will always reinforce your household rules, communicating with you via your preferred method. I provide regular updates, including photos of their day and incident reports. I'm also certified in First Aid and CPR. At Longwood University I am a Resident Assistant, Honors Student, and work as An Assistant Preschool Teacher at the Andy Taylor Center. I am described as patient, knowledgeable, and caring.
