About Barbara

I started caring for my mom in 2012 when her dementia started to hinder her ability to care for herself. After her accident, where she fell on the hot sidewalk and received 3rd degree burns, she went on hospice. The hospice nurses helped our family tremendously. That's when I found my calling. I eventually want to work for hospice. With that knowledge, I knew I needed my CNA license. So I went to night school and graduated at the top of my class. I have worked for companies and privately since then. I have worked mainly with Alzheimer's and dementia clients but have also had experience with Parkinson's, post surgical, and bed ridden clients. I am a fantastic cook, I have a clean driving record and will do light housekeeping.
