About Barakayah

I have over 4 years of hands-on experience caring for children of various ages. I've helped raise my nieces and nephews (now 8, 5, and 4) since they were babies, assisting with everything from feeding and diaper changes to playtime and daily routines. I also worked as a live-in babysitter for a child with autism, which gave me valuable experience in creating a supportive, patient, and safe environment tailored to a child's unique needs. Additionally, I've worked in a preschool setting, where I learned how to encourage early childhood development through engaging, structured activities. I'm CPR and First Aid certified and comfortable with diapering, feeding, activity planning, light housekeeping, and supporting kids in fun, age-appropriate learning. I'm patient, dependable, and genuinely passionate about helping children grow and thrive. My availability is 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays, with flexibility for after-school care, short-term needs, and occasional weekends if needed.
