The experience that I have caring for someone with special needs or who has a disability is good. That person was around my daughter's age 9 and an older senior, she is not able to do anything for herself. When I came into the picture, I took on this job not like a job but a responsibility as a mother having the same age child and a caregiver who is caring for my own family. Some duties were feeding her, changing her, combing her hair, playing with her, giving her her medication and I would also read to her just how I would to my daughter. Also, love her. The reason why I am so passionate about what I do is that the disabled and people with special needs are left alone sometimes to do things for themselves or no one who came in the path cares enough to help them. I love caring for those who are in need.
