About Ava

Hi! My name is Ava and I am a college student at Michigan State University, currently home for summer break! I have always had a soft spot for kids. Their energy, curiosity, and honesty are truly so special to me. I love being a fun, caring presence in their lives and enjoy helping them grow, learn, and feel supported every step of the way! With an internship every Tuesday-Thursday, I am looking for a part-time job that is both meaningful and fun! And childcare feels like the perfect fit. I have been working in childcare for about 4 years. I started babysitting and then began working at an early-education center while still babysitting on the weekends. I am comfortable with children of all ages, infant to school-age! One thing that families should know about me is that I love coming up with fun and engaging activities, both inside and out, to keep kids excited, active, and entertained. Whether it's crafts, games, or outdoor adventures, it is never a dull day with me!
