About Ava

My passion for fostering children's development led me to a rewarding career in childcare. With three years of experience as a Youth Development Professional and afterschool teacher, I've worked with children ages 4 to 15. As a patient and creative individual, I easily connect with children and adapt to their interests. I prioritize open communication with parents, ensuring they are informed about their child's day and any concerns. My approach to playtime includes outdoor activities, board games, art activities, and educational games that stimulate learning. With my skills and training in First Aid, CPR, and as a Certified Teacher, I can ensure a safe and nurturing environment for your child. As of the next couple of months I will have a degree in Education, Justice and Democracy from UCSC! I'm happy to assist with cooking, meal preparation, carpooling, and light housekeeping. I am a reliable and trustworthy childcare provider who values the well-being and happiness of children.
