Mom to 7-month-old sidekick, looking to help out a family who needs pickups/drop offs/after school/part-time help. I have been a nanny since I got my first job as an overnight caretaker in high school. When I started, the son had just turned 4 years old and by the time we parted ways he was almost 7. I worked for that family for three years until the end of my first year of university (at which time I worked only weekends). In the summer following my second year of university I nannied for two families, both of which had 2-year-olds. Upon graduation, my husband and I moved to Korea for two years where we taught English. I worked at the same middle school both years and it was an amazing experience. I was a nanny for an attachment-parenting family, and a family of twin infants in Fresno. I am very education-focused in my approach to caretaking, and I love to turn mundane, everyday things into a learning experience.
