I am an experienced caregiver currently living in Astoria, NY with a graduate degree in theater. Before graduate school, I worked for a number of years with a company in Arcadia, California, where I was a home-care attendant for adults with disabilities, including a young man with cerebral palsy. He is also in a wheelchair and my responsibilities included transferring him to and from his chair, assistance with bathing, grooming and keeping the place neat and clean. In addition to my work in Arcadia, I also helped care for a 3-year-old boy, with Global Developmental Delay who required similar care. I have always enjoying being a caregiver. I am a very patient, easy-going and friendly person, and have always had pleasant interaction with the people I work with, and I'm sure I can be an asset to you!
