About Astrid

My name is Astrid, and I'm a 32-year-old recent transplant to the greater Boston area. By day, I work as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in an alternative high school setting for teens on the autism spectrum; my typical day is spent working 1:1 with students in need of specialized educational as well as behavioral intervention. During my off-time, I'm a grad student working towards becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Other fun facts about me: I speak French; I love arts & crafts projects of all kinds; my hobbies include hiking/outdoor activities as well as training my dog. I've worked with a wide range of age groups, from early learners (20 mos-5 years) to teens and young adults. Prior to my career in ABA, I worked for several years as a nanny (seasonally and on a full-time basis) caring for children of all ages.
