About Ashlyn

Hi there! My name is Ashlyn and I am 23 years old. I recently graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University in May of 2022 with a Bachelor's in General Studies (focus on TESOL). At school, I was on the leadership team for cross country and track and also took many elementary education and TESOL courses. I taught in a 6th-grade classroom, and peer observed in a Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th-grade classroom. I have also substitute taught as well. During the summers in between school, I had the opportunity to serve families, create curriculum, and counsel children at Gull Lake Ministries ranging from the ages of 3 months to 12 years old. I also volunteered at my college's TESOL program, where I tutored K-3rd graders in English. Some of my hobbies include running, gardening, staying active, crafting, scrapbooking, visiting friends and family, and traveling to new towns! I am also willing to help with laundry, housekeeping, meal prep, and other tasks as needed. :)
