About Ashlyn

I'm an aspiring teacher with a passion for caring for children and helping them learn and grow. My previous babysitting experiences motivated me to pursue a career in childcare. With a year of experience, I'm comfortable caring for up to three children between the ages of two and 12. I consider myself patient, calm, creative, imaginative, friendly, and approachable. I strive to build strong relationships with the children I care for and their families, and I'm always looking for new and engaging ways to help children learn and have fun. When it comes to communicating with parents, I believe in open and honest communication. I provide verbal updates at pickup and follow the parents' preferred method of communication throughout the day. While I'm somewhat comfortable enforcing household rules, I always strive to do so in a positive and respectful manner.
