About Ashley

My name is Ashley! I have been working with children professionally for 7+ years now with an associates degree in Early Childhood Education. I have worked with children from the age of 6 weeks to 10 years. I believe that building a trusting relationship through communication and support will set children up for a successful future. Most importantly, I love to have fun! I am looking for a summer job or before/after HCPSS upcoming school year! My skills include patience, communication, and creativity. Patience: I help work through their emotions, tasks, and activities at the speed that is appropriate for them. I let children have choice that allows them to make their own decisions and build their skills in a safe environment. Communication: I believe that a lot of challenges can be solved through communication. I talk through a lot of feelings, different coping mechanisms, and build problem solving skills. Creativity: I love creative arts, dramatic play, and using our imagination.
