Hi! My name is Ashley and I am looking to nanny part-time. I am a first-grade teacher on the West Side of Chicago. I have been working with kids for 10 years. I started babysitting at a young age and then worked as a student worker in a pre-school for 3 years. After High School, I received a teaching award scholarship and taught amongst the city and other various schools of need. With this scholarship, I will be serving in underprivileged schools for the next 5 years. I absolutely love my job and working with my kiddos! I graduated from Illinois State University in May 2018 with a degree in Early Childhood Education (birth-3rd grade) and a reading endorsement. In addition, I am SEL certified (Social Emotional Learning) and I am certified in Saftey Care. I taught 1st grade for student teaching, spending half of my time in Schaumburg Illinois and completed my experience in Brighton, England. Please feel free to contact me with any questions!
