I started off taking care of a boyfriend's (now husband) grandmother . My husband also had an aunt in the field who got me my first professional job, and it was word of mouth from there. I end up having 5 more elderly that I cared for before I moved from Indiana to Florida. I have taken care of Alzheimer's, bed ridden, and some with walking difficulties. I have used a hoyer lift and have just worked as someones friend. I have loved all of my "jobs." I also took care of autistic individuals for 3 years and became a group home manager. I still keep in contact with those individuals. I loved working with them, especially the most aggressive bc when they weren't aggressive and develop a bond you could see how sweet they can be. And currently have 5 dogs. I'm definitely pet friendly; )

Ashley is great and we would definitely hire her again. We hired Ashley on short notice to care for my 12 year old daughter with ASD and ADHD at our wedding, during the ceremony and reception. She arrived on time and was very professional the entire time. She was able to keep my daughter occupied during the ceremony and speeches and even danced and had fun with her during the reception. We would definitely hire Ashley again.
