For 18 years I have worked as an instructional assistant with my local school district for special needs children. I have worked in special day classes as well as in a full inclusion setting (full inclusion being my specialty). I am an experienced ABA technician. I am ABA, DTT, RBT, PRO-ACT, CPI, trained and certified and am CPR/AED certified. I have experience doing respite care for adults with special needs as well. I have worked with many children and adults with disabilities including Autism, Down Syndrome, and Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy to name a few. I am also available for tutoring! I have many years of experience as an RSP aide and have access to k-6th grade material. I am able to teach various subjects and modify student's work in order to help them meet their IEP goals. I love working in the special needs community because I grew up with people who have special needs; my brother being my main focus and inspiration. Working with those with special needs is what I love to do.
