About Asha

Hi, I'm Asha! I've supported families as a paid childcare provider for about 8 years, and I really value the opportunity to care for children. Children are as varied as adults, and are growing and learning all the time. Every child has subtle (or not so subtle) quirks--particular things they like or don't, ways they respond to situations--it's important to be engaged in order to notice those things and support the child in whatever ways work best. I'm comfortable with infants through teenagers, and am happy to support more active or rambunctious children as well. I'm great at making children feel comfortable and cared for while helping to enforce boundaries set by parents or guardians. I tend to develop really positive relationships with parents, and I am still in touch with a few of the families I worked with years ago. Caring for children is something I love to do.
