About Sanou

As a trained and experienced Montessori Pre-K teacher, I have a strong understanding of child development. I approach children with respect, compassion, and patience, offering nurturing care while setting consistent boundaries. I make it a priority to validate children's emotions and co-regulate with them as they learn to process their feelings. I believe young children enjoy spending time with me because I take a genuine interest in who they are and what they love. My background in singing and theater also brings a playful, creative energy they connect with! I'm passionate about encouraging children's natural drive toward independence. I offer choices, support problem-solving, and invite them to take initiative in age-appropriate ways, helping build confidence, competence, and a strong sense of self.
