About Arlene

Hello my name is Arlene I am 23 years old and I have 10 years experience in child care. I am a huge sports fan! I played soccer for 11 years and softball for 10 years. What got me into babysitting was the connection I am able to create with the kids. Growing up, I was an only child so I never really got to experience that close bond some children have with their siblings which sparked my interest because I want to be a positive impact for them to be able to count on me. I began babysitting at the age of 15 mostly with family, friends and neighbors and have loved creating a special connection with the kids I have taken care of. Babysitting at a young age has taught me many different things especially how to handle difficult situations and also how to understand different coping mechanisms with kids and their behaviors. Having lots of experience makes me a great candidate for the job whereas I am extremely reliable and always available!
