About Ariel

Hi! My name is Ariel, and I have 10 years of experience as a CNA/PCT in a variety of settings (LTC-Memory Care, Med/Surg-Orthopaedics, OR/PACU, Peds ER, (Adult) SICU and CICU. In my day job, I am the sole technician on shift in UofM's 10-bed Cardiac ICU (7DN). I take pride in ensuring patients are clean, comfortable, and with their dignity intact. A large part of my role is to prevent infection, promote mobility and prevent the formation of pressure ulcers. I am known to spend extra time with patients to bathe (bed bath) with soap and water, detangle and wash hair, untangle a sea of lines, and keep the room neat and tidy. Homecare is new to me, as I have only done it twice (a long time ago). Although I am eager to assist in any way that I can.
