I have worked with many different types of dogs, ranging from Yorkshire Terriers to Rottweilers and more! My mini dachshund is full of energy and loves to play with other dogs. I also have a dog-friendly cat, who can be separated from any guests if necessary. I treat my own pets with the utmost respect and care, and I am dedicated to treating yours as part of the family as well. I have LOTS of experience with puppies, so if you are in the middle of training, I will make sure to continue it while they are in my care. I also have experience with special needs and senior dogs/cats. Not only do I have personal experience with pets, but I have professional experience as well; I worked at a pet store for 3+ years and have worked for a dog walking service, too. I am comfortable taking care of small animals and some reptiles in your home as well. Ariel performed invaluable and compassionate service for us when we were on vacation this past July. We left her with two kittens and two elder cats, one of whom (Harley) was very sick and we had just learned he had two types of cancer. Ariel did everything she could to care for him, including giving him medications, feeding him water and food through a dropper, petting him when he tolerated that. Two days before we came home, she came to the house and found Harley laid out on the floor and somewhat unresponsive. Ariel contacted us and we asked her to take Harley to our local vet. She did ... and unfortunately, Harley died just after he was taken back to the examination room. Ariel called us in tears to let us know. We cried with her - and thanked her profusely for everything she had done for him (and our other cats, including daily texts, photos, and videos). When we got home, we found a sympathy card and a framed photo of Harley. You just can't get better care than that.
