My paid experience began at 14 when I was hired as a permanent babysitter for two toddlers, a role I held for four years until I left for college. After college, I worked at a daycare/pre-K and also provided aftercare services. I've tutored high school students and served as a mentorship coordinator for a summer program at the University of Pennsylvania. More recently, I spent a year working with an agency that provided care for children with intellectual disabilities. I am very comfortable around children, coming from a large family where I often care for my nieces and nephews, though this is unpaid.
