Hello there, I am a 53-year-old woman who lives in Ballston Spa with my 24-year-old son. I have nothing that entangles me with my availability to care for you, or your loved one. I have an Associate Degree in Human Services and am taking online courses toward my Bachelor's Degree in the same with a focus on Elder/ End of life care. I am CPR certified and worked for a medical doctor as a tech for 15+ years. I have years of experience working in the homes of men and women and can provide references. I have done medication Mgmt. including palliative comfort meds, diabetic testing, and blood pressure monitoring. I would be more than happy to pray with you or your loved one if they would like, walks, or wheelchair rides outside (weather permitting) if they/you enjoy that. I love talking to our aging population, I have learned so very much from some of the folks that I have cared for. One of my ladies grew up in Germany during the war and told me stories you will never learn in a textbook.

Annmarie was an addition to some short term care needed by my parents. Very last minute our plans changed and we found ourselves without a caregiver in the evenings. Thankfully Annmarie made herself available to help cover the hours. She helped around the house and kept my parents company and for that I am very appreciative! I do believe that she wasn't quite as prepared for the kind of care (mother with severe dementia and father recovering from surgery) that we needed, but again, we were grateful for her flexibility.
