Hi - I'm Anne Kristen and I've been helping care for people since I was a teenager. I've worked with those who have special needs- first on a voluntary basis then later on a paid basis. I have worked with those who are physically handicapped -In fact for almost a year, I was in a wheel chair, so I do understand some of the challenges that entails (I'm no longer in a wheelchair). I've also worked with those who are on the "spectrum", as well as some with other special needs. If there is something I don't know, I'm a quick study and always willing to learn. I hope you'll consider me. Helping others is what I do and I'm pretty good at it.

Anne Kristen came to help us out with my father when our other caregiver just stopped showing up! She has been on time, helpful and above all, a positive influence in my father's life. She goes above and beyond what is required - not only for my dad, but also with the rest of the family, including Mr. Bojangles, my dad's cat. Anne Kristen has also gone on a trip with us, staying up with Dad and giving g us a break, so we could all sleep. Not many nursing aides "get it"- they're just there for the pay check- Anne Kristen gets it
