I have a diverse background, working in the New York City public school system; single mom extrodonair and personal care companion. I took care of my elderly (95-year-old) grandmother until she transition to a living facility. These experiences allowed me to be empathetic, compassionate, patience and to appreciate ones diversity regarding age, race and culture. Follow the care plan outlined by the client/family. Remain alert to changes in the client's health. Provide companionship with joy and memories. Assist with light housekeeping and meals. Monitor and medication reminders. Aid the client to get around comfortably (if needed) - from chair, bed, bathroom or into a car. Drive or escort the client to local appointments, stores and activities. Thank you for entrusting me with your family member! Vaccinated; Covid-19. Monday - Friday, 9 to 5. PM. Holidays and one month off in summer. $18 per hour. Reference upon request.

I believe all parents are a little bias when it comes to their child. Seriously, anyone who employs my daughter, Anita is in good hands. She stepped up to the plate when I had to remain in NYC with her critically ill sister who hospitalizes for almost a year and I couldn't care for my elderly mother simultaneously in North Carolina. Anita cared for her elderly, 98 year old grandma for a little over a year until she transitioned to a senior living facility. We loss both her sister and grand mother but I was able to cherish the time that I was able to spend with them. Anita continues to take care of me pleasantly seasoned lady and her 12 year old son. If your family member is in her care then that's one burden that's alleviated.
