Hi there! I'm a hands-on, nurturing mom to a respectful and well-mannered 5-year-old boy. After recently being laid off from my full-time nonprofit role, where I focused on youth homelessness prevention. I'm exploring flexible work that still allows me to support families in a meaningful way. My career has been rooted in care, advocacy, and helping young people feel safe, heard, and supported. While I don't hold any formal childcare certifications yet, I bring years of firsthand parenting experience, a calm and structured approach, and a deep understanding of what kids need to thrive emotionally and developmentally. I'm currently open to working with children up to 7 years old, and I aim to provide a safe, patient, and engaging environment where your child is treated with the same care and consistency I give my own.
