Welcome! My name is Angela and I am from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I graduated University in 2019 and I'm currently a cognitive psychology PhD student at the University of Pittsburgh. Here on care. com, I am offering tutoring services to help supplement my income as a student. I plan to pursue a career in learning and memory research, which means that I'm passionate about the quality and access to education. I have experience editing and grading papers, developing lesson plans, teaching, and conducting research that helps improve the quality of learning for students. I also have inpatient psychiatric clinical experience with at-risk populations. I want translate my clinical and research skills into tutoring children because of the compassion I have for growing minds. Nothing is more amazing than seeing the world through the eyes of children, helping them navigate life, and most importantly, mutually learning life lessons from a shared experience.
